Before you leave

> Wear comfortable shoes, our footpaths are steep!

> We recommend using baby carriers rather than prams.

Unfortunately Tours de Merle is not very wheelchair friendly. Visiting the Tours de Merle is very difficult for persons with reduced mobility

> Take a pen if you want to play the riddle game ore the paper chase (in french)

Once you have arrived

Free car parks are located before the footpath that leads to the site.

Several Picnic areas are available. 

> Dogs are accepted (on a lead) .

> Toilets are exclusively located at the reception village.

Useful : our gift shop

 Xaintrie and Correze specialities, nature and medieval books and souvenirs are available at the gift shop. You will find an entire range of medieval gifts for children.

Catering

Refreshments, coffees and snacks are also available at the gift shop. You may picnic on the spot or enjoy a meal in one of our local restaurants, located about 15 minutes from the site (by car). There are no restaurants or snack-bars on the site.
